Robert Tamayo

Bobby Tamayo, Lead and Rhythm guitars, synthesizers, backing and lead vocals. Influences include SteveVai, Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel and Kiss. More influences that inspired me are seventies and eighties rock opera movies, fifties and sixties rock and roll and heavy metal.

I have played for over twenty years in bands such as Play Dirty, Hooligans, Destination Unknown, Scenerio, U.L.D. (Upper Level Disturbance—not: Ugly Looking Dudes), Kimi’s Madhouse, Nectar and currently Next to Nothing. Equipment that I prefer, have and wish to have include: Marshall, Ibanez, Boss, Akia and Fender Heartfield guitars.

Hobbies include: playing guitar, composing music and laughing. Likes include: pretty women, summer night breezes, good food, sleep, rainy days, California sunsets, puppies, pretty women, sex, long walks with Woodro (my guitar), and women’s sexy legs. Dislikes include: ugly women (unless they’re nice), war without just cause, getting up early, bullies, over conservatism, soap operas, cooked carrots, okra, mixed veggies, beets, famine, diseases, death and Gilbert Godfrey. Fluent in Rock ‘n’ Roll, Blues, soft, heavy, Country, Contemporary and Fusion music. Also fluent in the English language as well as some Spanish, British and Southern accents.

Loves include: God, pretty women and playing live.
